Two New Crysis 3 Screenshots May Make Your PC Whimper

Two new screenshots for Crysis 3 have started to surface around the Web today. They look quite good. Some rather impressive foliage, lighting, and texture work there.

It's good to see a return to a jungle-like environment after it was sadly missing from Crysis 2.

I just bought a brand new PC a couple months ago to max out Battlefield 3, now I have to buy a new PC to max out Crysis 3.. lol.

Judging by the console port that was Crysis 2, i doubt your PC wont already be able to run it on all high.

Oh look, another game designed to force PC upgrades. Overly detailed, headache-inducing and oh so lacking in long term value. Sheesh what is the point, and who can afford it? If you want realism, buy an HD video camera....and go outside. I think games programmers have got it in their heads that they are artists - when really they are just code-writers. I'm sure reality will bite back soon enough.

I believe it is not going to be such a step up. why? it's still on the same consoles. as you can see from the videos the alien models are the same so i assume they will be using many assets from the previous games (it's the same engine after all) so I'm sure the graphical jump will not be very big and it will not force people to upgrade their machines as much as crysis or crysis 2 did. I think it will be pretty close to crysis 2 graphically wise
