Max Payne 3 on the PC Requires 35GB of Space - Pre-order Incentives and More Specs Revealed

Rockstar Games has blown the lid off of the system requirements for the PC version of Max Payne 3. Hold onto your butts because it's going to be a bumpy ride for those of you with inadequate hard drive space left.

The game will also make use of DirectX11 features such as tessellation, and other advanced graphical settings. Those looking to pre-order the game can choose from a variety of retailers. The game's special edition is exclusive to GameStop and select retailers in Europe. Digital Downloads can be purchased through Steam, Impulse, Amazon, Gamesplanet, Gamesload, and Gamersgate. These digital downloads include some of the Special Edition bonuses such as the Classic Multiplayer Character Pack & Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack.

More information, including links to all of the above purchase locations can be found at the official Max Payne 3 website.

That seems a little over the top. I'd understand why a huge pc focused epic rpg with tonnes of dialog and huge sprawling landscapes would require more space, but a multi-platform linear shooter? I played the first 2 on pc, but this time it's xbox.

Yea good thing I didn't decide to pre order through Steam, i'd be there all day just downloading. Also, geez this game requires more power than Crysis 2 and BF2!

Well BF2 obviously, and I guess Crysis 2 pre-DX11 patch.
