If you live in Europe, don't yet have Killing Floor, and like playing as a female avatar, then chances are you're going to love this news. Iceberg Interactive, the publisher of Killing Floor in Europe, has announced the Killing Floor Gold Box.
The Gold Box includes the base game, all six currently available DLC skin packs, and the addition of a new female character complete with female voice work in English, German, and French. The Gold Box begins shipping on June 1 through the Iceberg Workshop and is only for European markets.
Keep in mind that this additional character and the Gold Box itself is the produce of Iceberg Interactive's work. Tripwire Interactive, the development team behind Killing Floor did not create this added character. Tripwire's Yoshiro has hinted through Twitter that the female model and additional content may find its way to a DLC release at a later date.

Erik Schreuder, CEO of Iceberg Interactive says: “Killing Floor has proven a very addictive and fun game that has done extremely well. I am proud to say we were very involved in the creation of this Gold Edition and are thrilled to be part of the Killing Floor milestones that were achieved over the past three years. We admire the way that Tripwire Interactive have kept on building the Killing Floor brand with fresh DLC and seasonal events over time. The Gold Edition is a tribute to that as it includes both all previously released DLC plus a completely new playable character unique to this edition.”
Alan Wilson, VP at Tripwire Interactive says: “We were thrilled to hit the 1 million copies sold milestone. This Gold Edition will appeal to both existing players, who will now have a unique and exclusive female in-game character and to new players, who can jump in to the game with the complete set of available DLC characters. For players who already own the game, the copy of the game and DLC included will, of course, be tradeable in Steam, so that they can give the base game to a friend to join them.”

One can assume now that the tech/voice has been developed, in the future there will be other DLC on steam that uses it.
