Having just run out of time, the Kickstarter for Wasteland 2 seems to have surpassed $3 million in promised pledges. This total includes both the $2,933,197 through Kickstarter and another $110,000 in PayPal pledges.
As is becoming common with large Kickstarter campaigns, inXile promises to "Kick it Forward" with 5% of their profits going back to the Kickstarter community.
With a goal of just $900,000, I think it's safe to say that Wasteland 2 development is going to be going full steam ahead in the coming months. This is all thanks to a tremendous community effort.
(I wonder if I can get a Kickstarter funded to continue working on TGN... Hmmmm.)
