EA and Crytek revealed that Crysis 3 is very much real and very much slated to arrive in 2013. Bringing together the environments from Crysis and Crysis 2, Crysis 3 takes place in an sandbox-y New York City that has been encased in a bubble (called the "Liberty Dome") and transformed into an urban rainforest.
The game will make use of CryEngine 3 and feature seven distinct environments being called the "Seven Wonders".
Crysis 3 is set in 2047 and you once again take control of Prophet who is "on a revenge mission after uncovering the truth behind Cell Corporation’s motives for building the quarantined Nanodomes."
Crytek is so sure you're going to love Crysis 3 that there are already pre-orders available for the game in the form of the Crysis 3 Hunter Edition. This edition provides players bonuses to their multiplayer experience including early access to the bow, the bow's attachments, the Hunted Nanosuit module (added power and functionality to the suit), an immediate bump to level 5, exclusive bow skins and three exclusive dog tags.
The pre-order can be found through Origin and other retailers for $59.99 (USD). If you go to other retailers, then your options are even more varied.
