Aion Now Free to Play for Everyone - Celebrates with 4GB 3.0 Patch

Aion is now a free-to-play title in the form of Aion: Ascension. Today's move to free-to-play opens up the game for everyone, not just those who owned the game previously. It also introduces a massive 4GB patch bringing the game to version 3.0.

The biggest additions to the game include new areas, new items, new abilities, new quests, new crafted items, and the ability to purchase houses in the game.

So I did buy Aion when it was released but didn't play it that much. I found my old account on NCSoft and got it transferred over to Gameforge instantly (in the NCSoft game account settings), So now I have a Veteran Status free 2 play account.

Nice.

Though it is going to take me about a week to download the Client.. Not Nice..

Roll on June when Fibre is supposed to be installed.
