A patch was released today for The Darkness II that introduces a much needed FOV slider to the game. Check out the difference below from default to max.
That is quite the improvement there. The slider isn't a numerical setting but an incremental slider that can be adjusted with, I believe, five different preset FOV settings. In fact, while looking at the slider, there was a setting that was even lower than what I assumed to be the default FOV, which was odd.
The patch is 127MB in size. I'm not sure if more than just the FOV slider was added or fixed. However, if you're still on the fence about the game, even after this FOV slider was added, perhaps our video review will sway you?
