On April 14th, a 24-hour marathon will begin to raise awareness and donations for the charitable organization called Extra Life. Extra Life raises awareness and donations through efforts much like this CS:GO marathon. All donations made go to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals all over. These special hospitals help to treat children with all ranges of medical ailments, from cancer to broken bones and everything in between, regardless of their family's ability to pay.
So it's with that in mind that this marathon is going to happen. During the 24-hour period (or even beforehand or afterwards if you're so inclined), donations can be made to Extra Life. The group will also be giving away over 30 keys to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta.
I think this is a great cause here and the fact that they'll be playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and giving away keys is probably the icing on the cake for a lot of you out there.
