The latest rumor going around (via Gameinformer) is that Prey 2 has been cancelled by Human Head Studios and Bethesda.
Again, this is merely a rumor at this point, one started by a Netherlands based gaming site. They're taking the silence on the game to indicate that the game was cancelled by Bethesda but thus far there has been absolutely no official comment made on the status of the game.
Looks like we'll just have to wait and see.
Perhaps Zenimax follows in the footsteps of Activision and suddenly they see no good in the franchise. In this case we obviously hope that the game is picked up by another publisher, as long as it does not end up in the trash ...
