At present, Xbox Live Arcade titles offer up a maximum of 200 Gamerscore points. When April 2012 rolls around, which happens to be less than a month from now, gamers will have the option to increase from 200 to 400 Gamerscore.
This news comes to us courtesy of Xbox Live's Major Nelson who also pointed out this increase will raise the cap of available Achievements up to 30 for each Arcade title. When June 2012 rolls around, the Gamerscore increase will become mandatory for all Xbox Live Arcade titles.
