Kojima Productions Shows off New Fox Engine with a Quiz

Kojima Productions is hard at work building a next-gen game engine for future titles and for future consoles (PS4, Xbox 720). A variety of media has been released here and there for the engine with the latest coming in the form of a quiz.

The below images are either real photographs from the Kojima Production studio or real-time renders of the same studio in the Fox Engine. Can you guess which is which?

Are you done guessing yet? If you guessed that [spoileri]all of the "B" shots were rendered in the Fox Engine and all of the "A" shots were the actual photographs[/spoileri] then you were correct! Kojima productions released a few more images showcasing the Fox Engine at work in its current state. The Fox Engine does not use light maps, allowing for the inclusion of "dynamic, movable objects" to be lit naturally in the environment.

Now, if you will, imagine what a next-gen Metal Gear Solid would look like on this engine.

Well, I got it correct . If you look at it for a while you can notice the differences. I noticed it because of the very round/perfect lighting and because of the shadows being such "projections" from what was casting them. Also look at the differences between the red chairs and at the reflection from the huge tv.
Now talking about what they have achieved, it's pretty impressive, but would someone still be able to keep all this level of realism and detail in bigger places/maps? Like an outdoors place

You can definitely guess which ones are the rendered images, because they're the most vibrant colored. I guessed all to be "B."But I gotta say.. it looks absolutely fucking beautiful. If only the first MGS used this engine. I cannot even begin to fathom the sheer tenacity of the beauty that is that video game.

Beautiful, but how well does it perform in a complex environment with constantly moving dynamic objects?
