The First Details for Medal of Honor: Warfighter Revealed

Last week, Medal of Honor: Warfighter was revealed and met with some mixed reactions from the gaming community. This week, the first actual details are starting to come together courtesy of OXM US and CVG.

    - Developed again by Danger Close

    - Again focuses on Tier 1 Operators

    - Powered entirely by Frostbite 2.0 (Battlefield 3 engine)
-- Allows "for intricate details such as swaying chandeliers, splinters fraying from support beams and gunfire that sends papers flying from desks."

    - Story again "loosely" follows actual events and soldiers
    -- Co-written by real Tier 1 Operators
-- Danger Close going for "authenticity rather than simulation" (Meaning that your health will still recharge) (TGN Editor's note: "Authentic"... You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.)

    - Preacher, Voodo, Mother, and more returning as characters

    - Locations included a flooded Isabela City in the Philippines

    - More choice placed in the hand of the player

    - Danger Close developing the multiplayer in-house
-- Includes SAS, SASR, KSK, and Grom forces

    - A "hardcore" "one shot kill" mode will be included

    - Some form of co-op will be included

I'm still really leery of this sequel after how badly the previous Medal of Honor burned me.
