Continuing with the steady stream of new Guild Wars 2 media, the Yogscast crew took a look at the World vs. World vs. World style of PvP included in the game.
Now, I'm not typically a huge fan of PvP gameplay in MMO's but this WvWvW might just be enough to sway me. Yes, it looks that damn awesome.
From taking over castles with a massive army of players, to taking over supply depots, to building Siege Golems, to trebuchets, and everything in between. This looks freaking incredible. This might be the first MMO where I actually spend more time in this style of PvP than I do in the PvE.
These videos are accompanied nicely by a huge Q&A session Mike Ferguson from ArenaNet gave to the readers of Reddit a few days ago. He is a game designer for the game and talked almost exclusively about the WvWvW game type. It's well worth reading through the replies to see his response to all of the questions asked.
