Orion: Dino Beatdown Announced with Dinosaur Filled Trailer

Spiral Game Studios has just announced ORION: Dino Beatdown, a new release coming in just a month from a group of developers that collectively brought you such titles as BioShock, Ghost Recon, Unreal Tournament, Halo, Borderlands, Mortal Kombat, Jade Empire, and Forza Motorsport.

ORION: Dino Beatdown will go for just $9.99 (USD) through both OnLive and Steam when it's released.

It features 5-player co-op gameplay, 3 varied world environments (Desert, Forest, Grasslands), in-game stores, various gameplay classes, perks, upgrades, an in-game credit system, 15 weapons/items/grenades, 4 vehicles (hover-bikes, buggies, tanks/mechs, VTOL), 3 unique dinosaurs at launch (T-Rex, Raptor, Rham-Phorynchus), and 50 different Steam achievements.

Plus there are jet packs. Yes, you'll be using jet packs to kill dinosaurs with a group of buddies. That sounds pretty damn awesome to me.

Later on down the road when ORION: Prelude comes out I believe it's humans vs humans vs Dinosaurs as an NPC third party to the battle. This one is a bit more objective oriented and still looks quite fun.
