We've all been there. You're sitting down playing a game and suddenly someone starts to insult you, maybe even threatening you. You keep a cool head about it and ignore them. Next thing you know, S.W.A.T. is busting down your door and scaring the crap out of you and your family.
That is what happened to a teen and his family in Texas on Monday. The teen, whose parents asked for his identity to remain secret, was playing Call of Duty: Black Ops on his Xbox 360 when another player threatened him. The other person said that they would hack the teen's information and call the S.W.A.T. team on him.
The teen ignored it and kept on playing. That's when the S.W.A.T. hit the fan!
The family, too scared to leave their house, phoned 9-1-1 themselves and were connected directly to the police. They convinced her, her husband, grandparents, and her three children that it was safe to come out of the house.
The police are still investigating into who made the prank call to 9-1-1 initially.

About 20 minutes later, Lewisville received a call from an operator with the AT&T Instant Message Relay Service. The system is designed to allow hearing impaired users to reach someone with a standard telephone. The operator said they had received a message that a person was shot and that someone was still inside the house shooting.
The first responding officers saw no signs of shooting at the home. The video game was still on when police surrounded the house, with the entire family inside.
The teen said it was his parents who first noticed men outside with real guns, and someone with a bull horn, calling his name.
“We were all scared, out of our minds,” he said. “Didn’t understand why they were here. We thought there was some stranger some dude running around our house, hiding behind the boat. We didn’t know. We didn’t expect nothing.”
