The limited edition Kinect Star Wars themed Xbox 360 bundle finally has a firm release date! Xbox Live's Major Nelson noted on his G+ page that the specially themed system bundle will be released on April 3, 2012 and provided a link to the Amazon page for the bundle (ignore the date of June 1 as they have not yet updated their page as of this posting).
Star Wars fans should note that the limited edition bundle comes with an R2-D2 themed 320GB Xbox 360, a special white Kinect, a C-3PO themed controller, and a copy of Kinect Star Wars and Kinect Adventures.
It should be noted that one of the game modes included in Kinect Star Wars was a previously rumored dance mode. That mode has since been confirmed and given the name of "Galactic Dance Off" mode and is one of five different game modes. The rest of the game will also include speeder races, space battles, and more. It's all also playable in 3D.
Let's be honest here, most people will probably dislike the game unless you're quite the young gamer. The big draw here is going to be the console, controller, and white Kinect sensor.
