Mass Effect 3 Offers Unlocks Through Facebook Missions

If buying figurines and art books wasn't enough for you, gamers can now earn more Mass Effect 3 unlocks by playing through a number of Facebook related missions. Yep, the hits just keep on coming from the upcoming BioWare action-RPG.

Mass Effect 3 Mission Command on Facebook will let you spam your friends in various "missions" that will help you unlock Xbox Live Avatar items, add-ons, and more. According to a promotional invite to the program, "your decisions will determine the rewards." The more you interact with the app, the more chances you'll have to earn a "custom Paragon or Renegade Xbox 360 with Kinect."

Your first mission, if you choose to accept it, simply involes you signing up for the Mass Effect 3 Facebook app. Once a goal is met, all users will unlock a Normandy prop for their Live Avatars.

Later missions include players submitting a "pick up or refection line to Liara" for chances to win early access to the game's demo. Another mission has users creating videos in which you can recreate moves from the game to win an Xbox 360 with Kinect customized with Mass Effect 3 stuff.
