Article: Steam Mobile App Now Open to Everyone!

The mobile version of the Steam app is now open to everyone running Android or iOS devices. Previously, it was a closed beta that turned into a rolling beta that let more and more users in. Now, access to the mobile version of Steam is open to everyone without the need of a beta invite.

Launched last week in a closed beta, the Steam app allows gamers to chat with Steam friends, browse community groups and user profiles, view screenshots and user-generated content for their favorite games, read the latest gaming news, stay up to date on unbeatable Steam sales, and more.

Want to check it out? Simply download the Steam app (free of charge) and log in to your Steam account via the mobile app.

Hmmm like the facebook style, but really dislike how its incompatible with my iPhone 3G...
Also, where is the games list? I created a steam app that has games list and even stats for your games.. too bad i never gotten around to release it, but at least they should have implemented that, i know there are other user made steam apps that has these features... c'mon valve...
