Mojang, in speaking with Edge magazine, revealed that the studio has three new titles in the works. Two of these titles will be announced, if not outright released, in the first half of 2012. The third is the pet project of Markus "Notch" Persson himself, which seems to be a more feature filled version of Minicraft that is currently named MiniTale.
This news comes from a full 10-page spread that Edge has about Mojang in the latest issue. They also talk shop with the lead Minecraft developer, Jens Bergensten, and with Paddy Burns who is handling the Xbox Live Arcade port of Minecraft.
In other Notch related news. He came out publicly today in opposition of SOPA and stated that he and Mojang will be taking their sites down on January 18th.
Manneh is confident that the other two projects - which he reveals will certainly be announced, and possibly even released, in the first half of 2012 - will do much to reduce the perceived reliance on Persson.
"I think that comes with the new games we're creating," he says. "They will have a big impact on Mojang over the next year. I can't talk about them, because we have NDAs with companies. Otherwise, we want to be very transparent about everything we do, but in this case we can't."

Decided. We'll silently take down http://minecraft.net and http://mojang.com on the 18th in protest of SOPA.
