Diablo III Stuck in Limbo in South Korea

The Korean Ratings Board is on the fence about what to do with Diablo III thanks largely to the game's auction house. The Board feels as though the real money portion of the auction house is akin to real gambling and have deemed it not entirely legal for the country.

So far, three separate versions of the game have been submitted for classification in South Korea, but the Board remains "conflicted about what to do." One submission even removed the auction house feature entirely but the board is still apprehensive.

Given that Blizzard wishes to have a global release for Diablo III, the lack of approval from the Korean Ratings Board may delay the release of the game further. Though, at present, no release date has been set for the highly anticipated title.
