Xbox 360 Hits 66 Million Units Sold, Kinect Hit 18 Million Sold

Prior to their rather lackluster CES keynote just a couple of hours ago, Microsoft revealed that the Xbox 360 has hit the 66 million units sold mark. The Kinect now sits at 18 million units sold.

The last figure issued by Microsoft was back in October, with only about 56 million Xbox 360's having been sold at that time. This means that in the past few months, over 10 million 360's have been sold!

Also of note is the fact that there are roughly 40 million users connected to Xbox Live.
