Surprised? You shouldn't be. The upcoming reboot of Syndicate was refused classification in the land down under, Australia.



Kotaku Australia is on the case to find out from either EA or the Classification Board precisely why the game was refused classification. As you may recall, Australia is infamous for refusing classification for various game titles.

I thought we were past all of this now and were allowed 18+ classification on games?

I don't think it is yet to be officially implemented, and even so, R18+ does not account for 'everything else'.

Shame another game is denied, hopefully it makes more sense than L4D2
