Xbox 360 Fall 2011 Dashboard Update Arrives December 6

The Fall 2011 dashboard update for the Xbox 360 now has a firm release date and that date is December 6th.

• New personal and social features including Cloud Storage for Game Saves and LIVE Profile
• Beacons and Facebook Sharing
• Enhanced Family Settings
• Integrated voice and gesture controls across the dashboard and in apps
• Bing voice search (Available this year in the US, UK and CA)

At present, a number of people are in the beta for the Fall dash update. Personally speaking, it has a very Windows Phone 7 look and feel to it.

It's also a LOT less confusing and apparently disorganized than the old dashboard was. Super easy to navigate in the brief time I've spent with it.
