The fifth annual Desert Bus for Hope has been underway now for a good 72 hours now with almost $145,000 (USD) already raised for the Child's Play Charity!
If you are unaware, every year a group of charitable individuals put together a marathon charity event by playing Desert Bus for hours on end. Desert Bus is the child of Penn & Teller's demented minds that has you driving an empty bus through the desert in a real time from Tucson, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada. A bug hits your windshield mid-way through the trip and the bus pulls to the right slightly.
At present, they have 136 hours unlocked to play, with over 72 of those hours already completed. To reach another hour of gameplay, fans will need to donate almost $6,400 towards the event.
