This is something that transcends me.. i played a damn load of bf2 before bf2142 came out, was very hyped about it and once it came out it fulfilled all my expectations unlike bfbc2 of bf3 ever will. Who cares if it was using the same engine? To me it felt very different in its way and i had there so much more fun and so less frustration than i had in bf2.Comment

Yes all the Battlefield games are good games, some less good than other but still good. Now I think of it it's the only franchise where I have all the games (ok not 1943 or Modern Combat).Comment

I still feel we keep taking steps back ever game from BF1942 to BF2 and now BF3, something feels like its missing and the feeling is getting more hollow. I also have to note, I love the characters from Bad Co and hope they make a comeback, BF3 was just to serious for me.Comment

man, brought back so many memories. however, i do feel like they should have spent more time talking about the mod community for both bf1942 and bf2 because the MODS are what made those games so much better than the competitors and added years onto the lifespan of the game. forgotten hope and project reality and many more great mods should have been mentioned...Comment
