Here is the premiere trailer for the Back to Karkand DLC coming in December to Battlefield 3!

In this trailer, witness the very first ingame shots from Strike at Karkand, Sharqi Peninsula, Gulf of Oman, and Wake Island, from the upcoming expansion pack Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand.

This expansion pack also features new weapons, vehicles, persistence, and the return of the classic Conquest Assault.

If you pre-ordered Battlefield 3, the DLC will be given to you at no extra charge. For everyone else, it will run you 1200 MS Points ($15 USD).

I am actually pretty excited for this... There must be something wrong with me.New weapons will likely include the MP5, M24, SAIGA and if I pray hard enough, the L85A2.

Can't wait! I agree the mini map is extremely ugly especially compared to BF2's. Really not happy about them taking out the legendary back to flags of karkand? What's wrong..console's couldn't fit them? How much console is this game?

Yeah, you think they would have thought about that beore they designed the HUD. I'm glad that there are 7 flags, but it just looks hideous with those all lined up. Not to mention, there is no way to tell which diamond corresponds to which flag. Terrible UI.

Yeah, but thats how they were lined up in BF2. They MUST be the same across the board. So says....someone.
