GameStop to Have 4,400 Locations Open for Modern Warfare 3 Midnight Launch

GameStop will be open at more than 4,400 locations throughout the United States for the midnight launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

With festivities at stores kicking off Monday at 8:00 p.m., Call of Duty fans will have an opportunity to play the epic game prior to midnight as well as participate in various Call of Duty themed challenges. In addition, all GameStop customers can get it for less, and pay it off faster, with a 30% trade bonus on any game traded toward the purchase of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. GameStop will also host two all-out Midnight Warfare events at marquee locations in Los Angeles (West Hollywood) and New York City (Union Square) that will take the revelry to the next level. Members of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 development team will be available at both locations for autographs and a meet and greet with fans.

For those picking up the game, be sure to call your local GameStop to verify that your location will indeed be one of those 4,400 locations open at midnight.

Good times, cancelled my preorder at GameStop and moved it to Steam.

I had enough problems when I went to Gamestop for Black Ops, was one of three people in there, and asked for the PC version. They didn't seem to understand.
