R7 Server Update Released for Battlefield 3

The Battlefield 3 R7 patch went live a short time ago for server admins. The fixes are small in number but to provide a few key fixes on the server side.

• Fix for rubber banding
• TDM/SQDM spawn point fix
• 2 crash fixes in end of round
• Fix for connection problem when joining password protected servers

Keep in mind that this is just a server patch, not one for the clients yet.

Im not getting it as much I've noticed. In fact I havent noticed any incidents today at all.

Great, cant wait to see what a client patch will bring. Happy though they fixed the crash at end of rounds.

Tehran Highway gets the worst lag of all the maps, so I will have to see later.

I find it funny how they have said they have fixed spawn points in TDM/SQDM when as far as i can tell they were working the best in the game and there was nothing wrong with them in the first place. Conquest however.....

Funny you should mention that Scinto, I was playing Tehran Highway last night and had quite a bit of rubber banding going on. It wasn't constant but every now and again I would get it, especially when trying to flee of course. Who is to say that server had been patched at that time. Dice does seem to be able to fix alot of issues from the server side, unless of course my game patched without me knowing. For instance the squad join function was working like a charm last night. Made the game much more enjoyable.

On 1 of our Servers we would usually get lag on Caspian, Tehran, Kharg. Last night however there was no lag on Caspian or Kharg, didn't get to play Tehran

Sucks to be you, because my game runs like a dream. I don't crash anymore, I don't get kicked and I've have no lag.

Still insta-dropping dead and dieing after corners ( lag) even on servers with a very decent ping still crashing
