Return to Karkand This December in the First Battlefield 3 DLC Release

DICE and EA have sent along all new screenshots from their upcoming DLC release for Battlefield 3, Back to Karkand. You know the maps, you probably loved them in the past, now prepare to love and pay for them all over again.

Welcome to duty, Commander. Or was it 'above the call'? Heck, let's just go with "Welcome back to the call of duty, Commander." Yeah, that's the ticket.

It looks so different when it isn't orange. Hopefully they didn't mess with the flow too much.

There's also some EU weapons from the booster pack. No MEC, no China and no EU, it will be like BC2, only US vs Russia.

It looks so different when it isn't orange. Hopefully they didn't mess with the flow too much.

I have to think that Frostbite messes with the flow automatically.. as much as I love the engine, it makes obstacles easier to cross and choke points easier to bypass. Do I think the map is going to suck because of it? No, not really, but I definitely think it's going to be a different map from what we saw in BF2.

Adding to lethanilalist's words if memory is anything to go by hopefully the engine will actually INCREASE flow in Karkand.

There's also some EU weapons from the booster pack. No MEC, no China and no EU, it will be like BC2, only US vs Russia.

If we make loud enough voice and waving our check books in front of DICE, then we might eventually get it.

There wasn't EU and Warlord in vanilla BF2.

I remember Karkand 64p.

Zero flow.

Hopefully destructable environment can make it different.

OTOH, Rush mode should be good for Karkand.
