Apparently, and we cannot verify this first hand as the user in question has deleted their account, a former support representative that worked at EA dished out some details on the "horrors" of working EA Support. Again, the thread was up on Reddit a day ago but for some reason, possibly fear of discovery, the person deleted their account. However, his answers were saved in image form for the world to see.
There are some rather amazing and depressing stories told here. One in particular that stands out is when a customer's power was apparently turned off after the Mythic's billing fiasco drained all of their funds and prevented their electricity bill from being paid. A person living at the residence needed the power for their breathing equipment and without it, they passed away.
That is just one of the stories from this former EA Support rep. This person has stories about FIFA, Madden, general attitudes of upset customers, The Sims 3, and more. Again, we cannot verify the validity of any of this but it certainly makes for some interesting, if not depressing, reading.
The original article can be found here but as the person deleted their original comments and their account itself, their replies no longer show in the original thread.
