According to this image from a game retailer in South Africa, Mass Effect 3 will include an "online multiplayer pass." Now, while these are typically reserved for titles from EA (and others) that are played online with other people, it is possible it could be for DLC purposes.
Nothing has officially been announced yet, but it does seem like it's a good indication that there will be some form of a multiplayer component included in Mass Effect 3. Either that, or it's just a poorly worded way of saying the game includes a code to access the Mass Effect 3 version of the Cerberus Network for DLC and news purposes.
