Just so I have a idea of everyone musical taste, what do you think of this trailer.

you guys do realize you sound like a bunch of close minded dismissive people, in regards to this fairly banal peice of advertising. If you don't like Jay-z specificly that's fine, state that, if you don't appreciate Rap, state that, and say it's not to your tatste. However to dismiss a whole genre of music, that shapped much of the last 3 decades musically and culturally is just choosing to be in the dark. Is it all good, of course not, most music genre's aren't all filled with classics, and we all know games aren't seen the same from gamer to gamer.

This dosen't even have anything to do with the game, but I'm guessing either DICE them selves might shockingly enjoy Jay-Z, or they thought it might be fun to just license the song since it's a classic, and is immediatley recognizable, and people who appreciate the music might think it's a honor to have a great song used to advertised your product.

That was one of the best trailers i have ever seen. I just could not stop watching, although i believe 80% of the times i watched it was because of the music.

Rap sucks, although there are exceptions. I generally dislike "muscians" who talk instead of sing, so my dislike isnt just limited to rap.

But regardless of raps general lack of merit, that particular song is simply a bad soundtrack for what is happening. It is not "action music"

Yeah it's related to the Call of Duty fanbase, you always have some rap/rnb at the end of Call of Duty since the 4.

Close mindedness has nothing to do with it. Its what you like in a song with what is going on in the trailer. The songs lyrics make sense. These soldiers are running around and some guy is worried about a girl while hell is breaking loose. Yeah, thats obvious. Maybe when the full trailer is released the music with the video will fit better, but I doubt it because my opinion on music is also being factored into it. A good majority of the comments on other sites is the song sucks as well. I thought the Eminem trailer for MW2 fit well.

Its easy to say they are all closed minded, but are they or are those that like it that dont see the issue because of their state of mind?

Interesting point is that the phrase "AC-DC" had a whole different meaning in the 70's

I thought Britney Spiers and Justin Bieber was for the COD kids.I do hope they have made a 1942-version to their final trailer. But it is kind of redundant to compose a new themesong when there are basically no loadscreens in the games anymore.We listened to the 1942 theme so much because we had no choice. Would we have the patience to wait for the next map as long today?

The video is ok, I still hate the music though.
