List of Digital Retailers for Battlefield 3

EA had posted a list of digital retailers for Battlefield 3. The webpage in question is now not found, however, Planet Battlefield had this screenshot:

As you can see from the list, Steam is not mentioned. Could this have been a mistake and why the page is now offline or are there more issues with EA and Valve with either the control of the game or EA's own Origin?

Hopefully we will hear more about this and the decisions toward the Battlefield 3 release date.

GAME doesnt appear to be on the list either and it has a Digital Download Service aswell.

According to rumours over at the UK EA BF3 forums, the whole steam incident is not as much about patches, but about EA wanting to push "information" (e.g. ads) to those who buy it over steam.
I am not sure what to think, EA has a history of letting marketing run the show.

someone at EA eventually has to pull their head out of their ass and realise what a dumbass mistake it would be to not release the game on Steam they need to be marketing Steam pre orders right now

Either they're still in talks with Valve after the Crysis 2 BS, or they're actually finalized the list and Steam is definitely out.

Yeah, with what Scinto said and them working with the Crysis 2 thing, I think they just pulled it because they dont know whats going on yet and to stop the storm that is brewing.

Of course I was nice enough to post it up anyway
