Own an iPod, iPad, or an iPhone? Then you can pat yourself on the back if you've ever downloaded even a single app from the Apple App Store. The company announced earlier that over 15 billion (with a B) apps have been downloaded since the store's launch.
At present, there are over 425,000 apps in the store, 100,000 of which are iPad only apps. To date, Apple has paid out nearly $2.5 billion to developers of those apps.
