I was reading some of the comments in the Youtube link ... I really hate when people call it "Bad Company 3" ... I blame the consoles for this.

Also, I feel sorry for the guy that posted this video, he's getting around 4 comments every 10 seconds...

Sounds like you'd rather they used the BF2 engine instead of pushing technology forward.

We do? Huh. News to me then seeing as how most of what we heard doesn't really indicate that. But then again, BC2 played a lot like BF2.

what have you heard exactly then? many are saying the multiplayer demo (metro) looked like it plays like BC2. and im not even touching that second part of what you said.

FWIW, i have nothing against BC2.

I only think it looks like BC2 because thats DICE's art style.

while im not bother by console footage, this is going to be a small rant

now this doesn't effect gameplay, but its a nitpick i have with modern shooters about weapons. why is it so hard for them to model a gun properly, the had it right in the fault line trailer, but the animations were wrong, now they have the animations correct but the model is wrong!! come on.

I hope they model it correctly this time around. Good spot, I didn't notice they forgot the front site.

edit: PS3 looks like crap. In the PC version I'd like to see a blood trail for the Marine, and a Corpsman take care of him. There should be a longer period of time between being knocked to the floor and standing up, and during this time until a few moments after being up the screen should get blurry, and his ears should ring.

Meh, hope it gets better.

when you remove the front sight completely it removes the gas block, therefore turning the weapon into a bolt action rifle:)

People have been cutting up front sight while retaining the gas block for very long time. There are AR gas blocks in the market that comes without front sight. Those are usually for longer rail/handguard or for scope-mount ARs. There are also FSB with folding front sights. There are also front sights designed to mount on Picattini rails. Check the photo section of AR15.com.

Removing the front sight does not turn the weapon into a bolt action rifle.
