It's Official: Crysis 2 is Origin Exclusive

After beeing unceremoniously pulled from Steam earlier today, Crysis 2 is another to be pulled under the umbrella of "exclusive to EA's Origin."

The listing on the EA page for Crysis 2 says "BUY NOW - ONLY ON ORIGIN" with a handy link direct to the Origin store page.

Keep in mind that Star Wars: The Old Republic is already slated to be an Origin exclusive title upon its release.

Is a mass EA exodus from Steam and other digital outlets upon us?

Wow... That is really sad. They are trying to force us to use their system... Wow EA... I was beginning to think you guys were getting smarter. Steam is the way to go for distribution. Online distribution is not a market that needs saturation.

Personally, I think this is a bit of a backstab. Aren't EA the guys who publish the Physical and Console versions of Valve games?

I didn't like Crysis 2 anyway. It was more of a step back compared to the first Crysis.
