My general opinion on this trailer: This 1.19 minute trailer was enough to slap Mw3's in the face with their 10 minute gameplay

EA keeps taking them down for some reason. I'll keep trying to keep the trailer up as I can from others who upload.

How could you get anything from THIS video for MP? It was an engine showcase, nothing more.

Actually, if the person getting knifed can fight back/run away, at least it is a nice change from the "wtfbbqpwn1337" Knife from CoD.

Im a bit disappointed the knife cant be wielded and is rather just used. If it starts becoming a major CQC weapon like CoD i will be extremely annoyed. I hate having situations even in BC2 where im holding a shotgun and fire at someone only to be lunged at and kill by a knife.

Yeah that was my point, it would be cool if you were given a chance to fight back, i kinda hate to be locked and to just sit looking at an animation

As far as knifing goes, I miss the BF2142 knifing system, it took skill and you got rewarded by a nice shiny dogtag.

Apparently one of the devs confirmed on twitter that the knife is a wieldable weapon! !!!!!!!!

knife has 2 modes, quick knife and equippable knife....
they didnt explain what the difference is.

my guess is that quick knife can be countered while equipped knife cant?

That would be a great feature. Hopefully the knife takes a second or to for the player to equip.

Anybody think bayonets would be awesome? You can wield the knife, and attach it to your rifle!
