Whoops! Looks like some credit card information was stolen in the attack on the PlayStation Network. The good news, if you can consider it that, is that the information that was taken was for non-US residents and the information was apparently from back in 2007. That's about the extent of the "good news" for this.
All customers are still strongly urged to keep a very close eye on their finances and report any suspicious activity that is discovered. The new earrings your wife just bought on your card doesn't count.
Customers outside the United States should be advised that we further discovered evidence that information from an outdated database from 2007 containing approximately 12,700 non-US customer credit or debit card numbers and expiration dates (but not credit card security codes) and about 10,700 direct debit records listing bank account numbers of certain customers in Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Spain may have also been obtained. We will be notifying each of those customers promptly.
