Of course this is no promise that it will be in May, but it looks like mod tools may be getting closer to release.

Seems like a "too little, too late" situation there. May? Vague. Even if it's released in May, that leaves, what? Only about five months or so to get used to the tools and mod something actually worth a damn before the NEXT CoD game is out.

In the mean time, people will start moving over to games like Battlefield 3, Red Orchestra 2, etc. Only the diehards will stick around for any mod worthwhile, meaning mod authors lose out on what could have been a tremendous opportunity.
