Global Agenda the MMO Shooter from Hi-Rez Studios is about to go "Free to Play" come mid-April. This move to a more free experience will give players access to "all of the game's current playable content and levels with no purchase required."
There is an optional one time fee of $19.99 (USD) that will grant players the status of Elite Agent. This allows the player to accelerate the rate of earning character levels, gear, and currency. It also grants the player access to premium features such as login priority, the auction house, and in-game mail.
Those who already purchased Global Agenda will be given free upgrades to Elite Agent status automatically. A run down of the game's current paid option and upcoming free features are listed below.
The version 1.4 Free Agent update, expected to go live in mid-April, will support free play across all character classes through level 50. This update also introduces a new Dome Defense Raid as high-level player content, a CTF- style Mercenary PvP game-mode with pilotable robots, revised skill-trees across all four character classes, and other changes and content.
