According to Capcom Japan and reported by Kotaku, Mega Man Universe is officially no more.
The game, originally slated for release later this year on the XBLA and PSN, featured various versions of Mega Man from his extensive history. It was to feature classic side-scrolling gameplay and platforming action that fans have come to know and love.
Reasons for the cancellation were nothing more than a vague "various circumstances" but may have something to do with the game's designer having left Capcom.
