Crytek Readies the Ban Hammer for Cheaters

We do take cheating very seriously here at Crytek. We are currently taking steps to permanently remove exploits from Crysis 2 and to penalize those individuals that choose to utilize them. We thank you for your patience and want to ensure you that we will continue to work hard to keep the integrity of Crysis 2 intact and cheat-free.

That is the official Crytek response to the outbreak of cheaters plaguing the Crysis 2 multiplayer.

Definitely some good news for fans of the Crysis 2 multiplayer.

The multiplayer is actually going to be excellent fun when some of the issues have been fixed with patches. Im already enjoying it and thats with all the issues and cheaters so there is definitely something good about it. It does feel like CoD however the gameplay is much more tactical at times. Choosing between going stealth and armor whilst managing your energy meter can prove quite tricky and it makes you think about things a lot more.
