According to French gaming publication, Joystick, Bethesda is looking to release Prey 2 sooner than anybody thought possible.

Unbelievable but true: the next issue of Joystick makes its coverage on Prey 2, the sequel FPS not super-top-released in 2006. The last time we told you about was in September 2009 when the brand was going in ZeniMax and Prey by Human Head pretended that he knew nothing.

Well, I might actually get around to finishing Prey, then. I bought the collector's edition, in the metal box and everything, for $2.50 at a Half-Price Books a few years ago. Surprisingly, the key hadn't been used in Steam. It was a decent game and I'm glad I took the gamble. Too many other games came out right about that time and I ended up abandoning it. It should run on this laptop, so I should get a chance to beat it while I'm in Iraq for a year.

I love Prey! Sort of a goofy game, but apart from a few tedious vehicle sections I found it very fun.

Yeah, I fell in love with the game too. I've been waiting for a sequel since I finished the original shortly after it was released.
