Re: Game Informer March Issue Leaked
Those seem to be renderings from the singleplayer, I would bet that it'll be awhile before they show off multiplayer.Originally posted by RamboIs it a coincidence that BC2 has 4 classes tho?

What does BC2 having 4 classes have to do with anything? BF2142 had 4 classes...Originally posted by RamboIs it a coincidence that BC2 has 4 classes tho?

Those pictures are SP renderings. Not MP maps, or even full SP maps.
You have to understand the game is still 8 or 9 months away from completion. This article is just a preview and the game is probably barely alpha.Battlelog/Origin ID - Hurricane043Comment

Re: Game Informer March Issue Leaked
I'm not saying that DICE didn't intend 2142 to be another battlefield game. It definitely belongs in the family. I would say a good way to compare it is COD4, 5, and MW2. MW2 was meant to be the sequel to COD4. Not COD5 which was set in a completely different time period. 2142 was a side branch to BF2 with a different setting, and some differences in gameplay. Not a sequel.Originally posted by VrekiJust because it was less popular doesn't mean that it wasn't a true successor.
DICE obviously intended it to be the next Battlefield game, and it had several gameplay improvements.
The only thing preventing it from being BF3 was that many choose to ignore it because of the science fiction setting. The same people would have been ecstatic if it had been yet another current war scenario.
Don't get me wrong, I love both BF2 and 2142, I'm just saying that there is definitely a reason why BFV wasn't called BF2 and 2142 wasn't called BF3.Comment

Re: Game Informer March Issue Leaked
true crunch, the whole environment seems really static. normally in games with full destruction or physics you notice that sometimes the environment suffers a little of variety and detail to the destruction, and you can tell wich buildings are destructible and the ones whom are not just by the looks, and that really seems like something static, so if there really is any destruction it seems to be very static, scripted and limited. IF not, if you can actually destroy and make a whole everywhere and you can bring down all of the buildings then dice really acomplished a great masterpieceOriginally posted by CptainCrunchYeah, I know. The bricks in those pics arent even moving. I mean the dust seems to be stationary

Top right hand. You thanks that's a bird? Definitely isn't a chopper.

See, that's what I thought, but the resemblance to the little bird is uncanny. I still think it looks a lot like the UAV from BC2. I guess we'll find out eventually haha.Originally posted by Minmasterit could be though... it doesn't seem to be that high and far away in that pic... it seems smaller than a little bird in that pic.Comment

Little birds are fun. The one in AIX with the miniguns and missiles is good fun to blast bots away with. :wee:Comment
