Garandx posted up this poster (ha) detailing what the Limited Edition may include:

The wording in the corner says:

This themed expansion pack features four legendary maps from Battlefield 2 boldly re-imaged with Frostbite 2 physics, destruction, and visuals. Completing the package are classic Battlefield 2 weapons and vehicles, unique rewards, new achievements/trophies, and more. For those who don't pre-order to secure the Limited Edition, Battlefield 3:Back to Karkand Expansion content will be available for purchase approximately one month after the game's release.

Because there is no official statement about the Limited Edition or source of this leak, there is no way to confirm that this is in-fact legitimate.

Well Garand said in another post that this poster has been made in about 30 other languages from a company website EA uses to do marketing, so it seems VERY legit.

Not sure i want those maps again but the more maps and packs the better IMO, now if they remake bf1942 maps i will fap fap fly away:p

WHAT?!!?!?!!??? It's BF2 with better graphics! Its like DICE listened to only YOU while making this game!

We know one map is Karkand, but we dont know the other three. One is probably Wake, but I couldnt guess what the other two would be.

Okay, well, I'd agree with Karkand and Wake, my guess for the other two would be Gulf of Oman because it was the BF2 demo map, and Warlord (do you think they'd do an SF map?).

I dont know if they would do warlord or not. I doubt any expansions would be done, but who knows now.

I know karkand sounds bad, but now its destructable. Only a bottleneck for a few minutes until the tanks roll in or arty is hitting the buildings

It will change Karkand a lot.

And Yeah it has to be two of those three: Sharqi, Daqing or Gulf of Oman.

Oh no. I never preorder games because I like to buy the game on release day. But I want this. UGH.

Seriously tho, i dont want to play on maps i spent 5 years trapped on like a mindless mouse.But i do want bf3 to follow in bf2 foot steps with open maps.

Strike at Karkand
Wake
Mashtuur City
Gulf of Oman

What I'm worried about is the splitting of the community again. For the first month, only some people will be able to play the maps. After the month ends, then only those who buy it will be able to play them. Will it end up being like Vietnam?

For the most part the people who have it the first month probably preordered it. Also, who would be stupid enough to not preorder it when it comes with a free expansion.
