Another thing that scares me with the single player is that if they really are trying to compete against CoD, it might be some Hollywood style over exaggerated piece of crap, whereby they release the next installment to it every year :/

I don't think that's what they mean by competing with CoD. Just look at the "Duty Calls" spoof from EA, not DICE per say, but they are the publisher after all.

I think they just mean that this is going to be the game to knock CoD off it's unworthy pedestal, in their own way, not by copying it.

The cover looks like a bastard child between Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor, with a whole lot of 'wannabe' call of duty.

Whats with those scarfs too? They look fruity as hell XD. 'Im a big bad marine with an assault rifle and 5 attachments, fear my scary scarf!'

I'm reserving judgement as best as I can, but I can't say I'm too excited.

24 on consoles and 64 on PC? Wow, console suck the big one LOL.

I swear, everyone is hating on the box art. Because BF2s box art was awesome? Who cares about the box art people? Does that change gameplay? Look at it this way, they are spending more time in the game instead of box art.

I wouldnt be surprised if they actually change the cover closer to release and are just using that as a placeholder for now.

I think it will change somewhat. The text especially. In that image, it is basically plain white. I'm not sure if that is the final logo or not. But the background will probably stay the same.
