They said that the PC would get special attention wtf that means idk.. if its mod tools and more that 64 players then finally it would be a start to follow the old 42 but do i have my hopes for it.. no.. cause all EA wants is money and doesnt give a dam about the community and what it really wants.

Looks like GameInformer is saying 64 players for PC and 24 players for consoles:

Ok firstly im super excited about this now, especially that we are finally seeing the very first real details about the game. Tomorrow couldnt come sooner if we genuinely get a teaser trailer

The only thing that scares me is:

1) It does mention a single player and personally for me BF has always been abouts its multiplayer and so i would rather they concentrated on that.

2) As mentioned already, the red glow in the wallpaper. It scares me because that is a very BC2 looking glow and i think im with most when i say i dont want BF3 to swing that way. Unless that glow is some sort of symbol for the Frostbite engine.

I think BF3 is definitely going to take on some of BC2's characteristics because I think in many ways BC2 was a true trial run for DICE to test the waters, so to speak. That said, they're calling it BF3, not BC3, so I assume and have a pretty good feeling that it will still be in the vein of BF2/2142, etc. Of course, things are going to change, we all know it isn't going to be a clone of any previous BF game, it's going to be it's own entity.

As for the single player, I'm with you; I don't really care for it and hope they don't put too much time into it instead of the multiplayer aspect. But at the same time, I wouldn't mind a small SP campaign a la BC2. The BC2 SP campaign was short, enjoyable, and didn't take itself too seriously, and certainly didn't detract from the multiplayer.

I suppose in the end only time will tell, but I'm extremely excited for the teaser trailer, even if it's only a teaser trailer and no gameplay.

Another thing that scares me with the single player is that if they really are trying to compete against CoD, it might be some Hollywood style over exaggerated piece of crap, whereby they release the next installment to it every year :/
