The preview event held today for Mario Marathon already raised over $1,000 for the Child's Play Charity.
Today's event was nothing more than a couple of hours to explain what will be going on when the actual event kicks off on June 24th. However that didn't stop the donations from rolling in, including a $500 donation from one contributor.
In fact, the donations are always open and every bit donated unlocks more levels and play time and all donations go towards charity, nothing is kept by those hosting the event.
This year's event promises to have better quality video, fan reactions, more giveaways, and more Mario.
