Ubisoft is slated to release an all new animated short for Assassin's Creed, entitled Assassin's Creed Ascendance. Ascendance will be released on the same day as Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and will follow Ezio Auditore as "he struggles to remove the treacherous Borgia family from their papal throne."
Brotherhood is just days away from release now for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC version is still slated for release early next year. Ascendance will be available through the PSN, Xbox Live, and "other digital channels" for just $1.99 (USD).
A comic book series, Assassin's Creed The Fall (published by DC Comics), figurines, and even a Facebook game are all also available.
