3DS Will Have Game Boy Virtual Console, Mega Man Legends, and More!

The game lineup for the 3DS is already going to be rather impressive when the handheld is released early next year. It was revealed today that Nintendo plans on having a virtual console lineup of Game Boy games for the Nintendo 3DS.

This virtual console will include both Game Boy and Game Boy Advance titles. Titles and pricing were not yet revealed aside from showings of both Super Mario Land and Link's Awakening DX.

Capcom also showcased a few impressive titles at Nintendo's event today. Including an all-new Mega Man Legends 3, Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil. Resident Evil will take on two flavors for the 3DS including Resident Evil: Revelations and Resident Evil: Mercenaries.

Many more titles can be seen in the trailer above, including Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Mario Kart, Monkey Ball, Professor Layton, and much, much more.

Sweet. I want to try some of these, so hopefully they will be cheaper than the actual cartridge. :)

The VC stuff probably will be, the new 3DS games will more than likely be typical price since they're still on "cartridges."

I hope so. Old games cost a ton through ebay or amazon. I spent 8 bucks for a gameboy super mario land. That's the nice side of the coin. The other side is like 30+ dollars because the game is just epic or rare.
